While living in Malaysia I came across a little pink book for dreamers and gamblers. It was filled with numbers, images and Chinese language characters. I’ve always admired Chinese brush painting and dreamed I would practice it one day too. This little book inspired me to finally practice this ancient art. I gave it my Western best; with rote learning, repeating what I saw while experiencing the Eastern elegance of brush, water, ink, paper.
