Daphne was my second exercise in home ownership, the first being my tipi. I love her mobility and coziness. Over the years she has become a sort of traveling art studio, I keep an array of supplies in her and have worked on her “looks” in a variety of outdoor settings. It’s very convenient. Daphne is still a work in progress and more finished than unfinished.

The images on Daphne’s exterior play on a number of subjects and life experiences I’ve been exposed to. Geometric psychedelic patterning, Southern California surf culture, the awe of watching silver skinned dolphins surf waves, the curtain of night and the talons of bats, and the simple elegance of the rising sun.
